Helix, Copper Wire Wrapped and Woven Double Bail Faceted Labradorite Pendant
I was first commissioned this piece by a man about to undergo a bone marrow transplant from his sister, and he wanted to give her a special gift that resembled a double helix. I already make a similar double bailed pendant that he liked, but I told him I could change it up for his needs, and Helix is the result. I love it so much it is now what I will be making for myself as a signature piece. The pendant measures 2.75” x 1” and features one of my proprietary adjustable copper chains that clasps first at 18," and can also be clasped anywhere from 20" to 22" in length, suitable for men and women of all sizes. However, adjustments in length can be made upon request, or a leather cord may be substituted for the chain.
The copper has been coated with an anti-tarnish sealant to temporarily preserve the color and protect your skin. Copper will deepen in color over time, which can be a beautiful effect. However, a polishing pad will be included with your order so you'll be able to re-polish your copper bringing out the piece's highlights should you choose. Copper care instructions will also be included.
A gemstone will be selected of a similar quality to the one in the photo. If a particular color is preferred, such as blue or green, please specify at the time of your order. All of the gemstones I use are natural and one-of-a-kind, so you'll be owning a unique piece of art! Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
